Walking around the Chelsea Galleries in NYC is one of my favorite Saturday or Sunday afternoon go to. You never know what you will run into, especially if your just walking around as I usually am.
Two weekends ago I was with Nina and ran into these amazing life size Papier-mâché Dogs with their crap and everything, and felt it was only appropriate to post about it.

Nanka is delicious! A Peruvian fusion type of sustainable and green like vibe. They have their own little green house. Es un restaurante peruano fusion con una onda muy bacan de reciclaje.
We had the Vietnam Rolls stuffed with crispy shrimps, scallops in a bed of mashed chickpeas and a crispy “cochinillo” with veggies from the amazon. To top it off lemongrass tea, freshly cut grass.

Nina arrived to a wonderful and amazing spring weekend in NYC, we started our thursday evening with an amazing live set performance by Pillowtalk!! It was their first stop in their summer tour and was the world wide premiere of their new show. The event also feature an Immersion 360 degree projection mapping system™ with custom audio visual integration and interactive environments. What a magical night, twirling and dancing away.
In this part of the world, winter is finally upon us. Peru doesn’t really have seasons – unlike NYC. Here it is either summer or winter. This week temperatures dropped, I had the Caballo de Paso Peruano National contest and a wedding.

Foggy mornings, if you thought London was famous for it’s fog, you havent been to Lima. Caballo de Paso Peruano in Mamacona, Lurin, Pachacamac. Talk about swagger, cause no other horse type has it.Which one? The white one or the pink one? I ended up wearing another one. ; )

Sisters are a blessing…..I didn’t have one growing up, I actually have a brother, but I have had many friends who have become my sisters as well as friends with sisters who have shown me what a blessing it is to have one. I am not saying that having a brother is not a blessing, its just a different kind.
